During my four years as the grant writer for the National Veterans Art Museum, was responsible for all facets of the grants process, including research, writing, budget development, and reporting.

I've provided insights and direction on public relations, search engine optimization, and social media strategy and managed accounts for Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Editing
From dissertations to film scripts, I've provided editing services ranging from formatting to light copyediting to substantive critique.
Writing, Researching, and Leadership
I received my PhD in English from Loyola University Chicago with a dissertation entitled The Trauma Thesis that examines the representation of psychological trauma in war narratives.
Currently, I am assistant professor at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I serve on the board of directors for Chicago Access Network Television (CANTV) and CodeCreate.
I'm delighted to be returning to my first love: Veteran narratives and nonprofit leadership.
